Bio

kmAndras is the electronic music project of András Kovács M., a Budapest-based screenwriter and composer.

Inspired by the spirit of the ’70s and ’80s, the project delivers retro-futuristic cinematic electronic music. From the Vangelis tribute Farewell, Mr. Papathanassiou to the René Laloux-inspired No Escape—featuring distinct vocoder vocals—each track functions as the score to a film that never existed.

The latest release, The Keeper of Hours, is an eight-track cinematic exploration of memory, loss, and an obsession with time. Blending synthwave, synthpop, dreamwave, dark electronic textures, and moments of chiptune nostalgia, the album unfolds like the soundtrack to a forgotten sci-fi film.
